The museum tells the captivating story of Chippenham, a historic market town, from its prehistoric origins to its modern-day charm. During the summer months, visitors can experience the medieval Yelde Hall on select mornings, where they can meet engaging characters from the town's past, including pirates from 1709 in the lock-up. The museum also features two permanent Modern & Contemporary Art galleries, though these will be temporarily closed for updates from February 23 to March 6.
