Welcome to Day Zero, where we bring you organic fruit and vegetables, ethical wholefoods, and a commitment to zero waste. Founded in 2018 by Holly and Mark, we were among the first refill shops in the UK, aiming to create a supportive community space for those who wish to shop ethically but find limited opportunities. Our journey began in Buxton, and since then, we've evolved based on customer feedback and the needs of our community.

At Day Zero, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and grow. While we still offer refill goods, we now have a full online shop and have expanded our offerings to include organic, locally sourced fruit and vegetables. In the summer of 2021, we launched our organic veg box scheme, partnering with a local cargo e-bike delivery service, eLOV, to ensure that fresh produce reaches the homes and businesses of Buxton residents.

We understand that ethical shopping can be complex, with concerns about packaging, workers' rights, and environmental impact. That's why we've taken the guesswork out of it for you. Every product we sell meets our strict ethical criteria, allowing you to shop with confidence. We love collaborating with like-minded businesses and are always eager to connect with local suppliers.
